Project MOTION staff gathered together to improve their futures orientation skills in Malaga and Granada at the beginning of March 2022.
During the training week, the main target was to ensure that all the staff members of project MOTION were capable of guiding scenario and futures envisioning processes.
MOTION aims to increase the awareness of customers about sustainable tourism and create more sustainable tourism services. One day was spent with local tourism services known for sustainable solutions during the staff training.
MOTION will organize scenario workshops in all partnering regions, in Torun, Granada, Rovaniemi, Klaipeda, and Fehmarn where local companies and other actors will utilize material that has been produced in the project and improve their future orientation skills and possibilities. During the training, staff practiced diverse methods and processes that could be used in those scenario workshops.
Staff training was very beneficial, and it gave the staff team the possibility to finally work together as a team face-to-face, which was experienced to be productive. Sharing thoughts improved the team spirit and made it possible to create a structure and content for future scenario workshops.
During our staff training week, we visited our partner, the municipality of Monachil and local businesses for the training purposes and future cooperation.
Our visit in Monachil ended by us planting trees for the future.
